According to Sky Sports news, Norwich rejected Everton’s offer for England defender Godfrey.
The report claimed that Everton made an offer of 20 million pounds for Godfrey and added an additional bonus clause of 6 million.
Godfrey has been rumored with many teams, including Premier League teams such as Fulham and Newcastle United.
Godfrey, who is only 22 years old this year, joined Norwich from York City in the 2016 winter transfer window. He has been successfully transformed into a central defender from the midfielder.
Godfrey helped Norwich win the Champions League last year. He renewed his contract with the team last summer until 2023.
